I read the other book from this series previously and wasn't impressed with it but this was better. Wasn't great but a quick read. The hero Turner is fun to read loved his dry sense of humor and charm. He broke my heart though with how cynical and untrusting and fearful he became after his first marriage. Miranda is an interesting heroine, their whit and sarcastic sense of humor made them perfect for each other. The only thing is I did feel the story got dragged out a bit in the middle. I wasn't thrilled with how they both handled the 'fallout' after they came together. It was rather anti-climactic and frustrating to be honest. But the last few chapters grabbed me and made the story better IMO.
